ATLAS TEA COMPANY

ATLAS TEA COMPANY Ogden

Here’s an interesting concept: a tea shop in Ogden on Washington Blvd. I’ve never seen a single soul inside! Apparently, it opened back in November 2024 by a mother–daughter duo. The place itself is cozy enough, complete with a collection of singing bowls that I couldn’t resist gonging a few times.

There was also a keyboard randomly sitting in the corner. Maybe it’s for live jazz on Friday nights? Sadly, I don’t think anyone would actually show up.

I ordered an iced mint yerba maté—since you can’t find that most places. To their credit, it wasn’t bitter (which yerba maté usually is) and they pulled that off without dumping in a mountain of sugar. Respect. They’ve got a big selection of teas, hot or iced, and plenty of options. The “Blue Cheese Honey Walnut Toast” caught my eye… but I wasn’t quite brave enough to gamble my afternoon on that flavor experiment. The guy helping me out was kind and admittedly didn’t know anything about the singing bowls.

In theory, I’d love to sit here with a tea, work on my laptop, and vibe with some live jazz while clanging away on the bowls. But realistically, I don’t think Ogden is quite hipster enough to keep this concept afloat. It would feel weird to do that by myself. Call me a pessimist, but I still haven’t seen a single customer inside.

Also, I’m not tea-snobby enough to know if what I had was “exceptional” or just… leaf water. The hibiscus slushie did look tempting, though. Maybe next time I’ll be brave, order that and the blue cheese toast, and update this review.
